What.
Ten years ago, the course of history changed in Tunisia, with the fall of President Ben Ali during the January
2011 revolution.
A dictator fell, Democracy took hold, and beyond the country, these events would lead to the "Arab Spring", in
Egypt, Syria or Yemen.
But what remains of these events today?
How are they transmitted to the youngest?
Do we remember the years before?
Do we remember the years since?
The young people who will take the baccalaureate this year were not 10 years old at these events.
What do they remember?
How to speak and explain, transmit and analyze the events that have changed the daily life of Tunisia, to those
who have never known anything but this democratic model?
Talking about recent history is always tricky.
Talking about history is often off-putting for the youngest.
And yet?
’10 years later’ is an initiative to talk about historical facts via new technologies: so-cial networks, virtual
or augmented reality.
And more.
Because to better envision your future, you have to know your story: "10 years later".
